Vice President – Technology & Services, IMS Health
Amit is the Vice President – Technology & Services for Asia region. His focus is on helping IMS health transform the agenda in healthcare across continuum of technology based solutions and advisory work with clients looking at Asia markets. Prior to this, Amit was the GM for IMS Health South Asia.
IMS Health is the world’s leading information, services and technology company dedicated to making healthcare perform better. Today, IMS India has customers across pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer health, providers, payers, government agencies, policymakers, researchers and the financial community.
Amit has played several leadership roles within IMS, including General Manager of South Asia, Thailand and also Strategic Consulting based in Singapore.
Before joining IMS, Amit launched Battaerd Mansley in India an in-clinic effectiveness and measurement business very successfully.
Amit has lived and worked in Australia, Singapore, Thailand & India in various healthcare portfolios including medical communications, pharmacy, pharmaceuticals, web based e-marketing & strategic analysis.
He appears regularly on leading business channels, newspapers and conferences to share his viewpoints and thought leadership in healthcare.
Amit holds a B.Pharm degree from University of South Australia and an MBA from Adelaide University, Australia.
